The Garden of Organic Delights is a collection of formulas for hair and skin care, that Rick and Sally have been developing in their spa/salon for over 3 decades. Both Rick and Sally have been licensed in Hair and Skin care, collectively, for over 60 years. Sally is a licensed aesthetician and has been practicing the art of European skin care for 30 years. Rick is a licensed cosmetologist, educator, platform artist for 32 years, and serves as a moderator for an international hairdressing internet forum.
The collection started with a love for homemade soap. Rick started making soap for Sally's clients who preferred bar soap over liquid cleansers. Sally was determined to give them the products that they desired, without the damage that accompanied commercially made soap bars. She found that Rick's homemade soap, created from olive and other natural oils, gave her clients both the gentle cleansing and natural moisturizing they required. With a little experimentation, he was able to create formulas for other bath products that contained CoQ10, vitamin E, natural proteins & collagens and deep hydration & exfoliation agents, needed for the many skin types Sally dealt with on a daily basis.
If it worked for Sally 'why couldn't it work for me?' ... Rick realized that even colour-safe commercial shampoos were stripping his colour client's hair, leaving them dry and faded when they would return for their monthly touch-ups. Taking a clue from Sally's success, he produced a shampoo that was Sodium Laurel Sulfate free. It cleaned the hair without stripping the colour. Knowing that hair and skin are basically the same, he studied Sally's formulas, and added proteins and deep moisturizers that repaired the hair and were gentle to the scalp. The colour care system became complete when he developed a deep conditioner, and a very special pre-spray that sets up and shields the hair, making it more resistant to colour stripping.
Their clients have enjoyed these formulas for a long time, and now, they are available to you!
